No they won't. Well, they might talk, but they won't accomplish a damn thing but waste time, money and spew pollution into the air by flying around the globe. The only thing they were getting that was actually worth anything to them in the deal was US cash. And states and cities are not going to send them any.

A number of US companies and cities have already announced their intentions to follow the paris agreement regardless.

Trump said he represent Pittsburgh, not Paris.

Paris mayor issued his own executive order ordering compliance

along with many other mayors and governors

That still leaves out the cash. I don't care if all of these individual entities want to volunteer to follow the regulations and standards, as long as we are not paying for it.

But that's mostly my point. "Following" the agreement for a state or city is an almost nonsensical concept because the importance of the US to the framework of the agreement had nothing to do with the sorts of actions a state or city can take. It is very widely acknowledged that none of the actions called for in the agreement will actually affect the future climate in any material way. It is entirely a scheme to transfer wealth from rich nations to poor nations and surrender sovereignty to an international organization. None of that is going to be done by states or cities.

Resistance to anything Trump says or does pretty much disqualifies this city as a voice of the people of the USA. All lefties will try to give their power away to the biggest, least accountable government. Right now, that's the EU.

So if the Eurocucks hate the US, UK, and Russia, where are they going to turn?

Right, but the EU is butthurt over Brexit and Crimea. I mean, their Brexit 'terms' are derisive as well.

EU to bypass Trump administration after Paris climate agreement pullout | Environment | The Guardian

'India, despite facing the challenge of meeting the energy needs of millions of people who do not have electricity, firmly stood by the Paris agreement. '

'The 29 articles of this Paris agreement are not to be renegotiated. '

'The European Union has rejected Donald Trump’s offer to renegotiate the Paris climate agreement and pledged instead to bypass Washington to work with US business leaders and state governors to implement the historic accord’s commitments. '

'Pittsburgh stands with the world and will follow Paris agreement. '

'That’s what the EU will do.”He added: “The fight against climate change cannot depend on the result of elections in one country of another. '

If they actually do eventually pay for their own NATO and carbon credits the euro collapse might keep the dollar stable for a bit longer, maybe that's the idea behind the Saudi arms deal

Dumb, dumb article. Cities and states have become powerful players in international relations in recent decades. This trend has been driving international affairs bottom up for decades. Track Parag Khanna. He's a spokesperson for technocracy but he's also describing what is indeed occurring. http://www.paragkhanna.com/

This reminds me of how foreign nations dealt with the U.S. when they had the Article of Confederation. They deal directly with the states with no national government coordination. It sounds like their appealing to State's Rights enthusiasts.

So they'll try to use their power to ReNegotiate with each State? I hope Donald puts a quick stop to that bullshit

You can't renegotiate agreements like these every 4-8 years. I agree it was a bad agreement, for the US but expecting the other parties to renegotiate is folly. It would open the door to renegotiate every international agreement, every time there was an election somewhere.
