I'm primarily concerned with having a cheap phone that gets the job done. My current phone has 8GB of storage and is annoying me with "not enough storage" issues, so something with 16GB or 32GB would be nice.

Probably going to upgrade to whatever Republic Wireless has around the $150 range the next time there's a sale. Probably a Moto G something. Not interested in paying more than $20/month so I'll probably stick with RW as a provider.

My wife and I both have Nexus phones. The thing I love about it, is that there is no bloatware on the phone. Remove pretty much any crap, no more Tiger Woods Golf that I oddly can't disable or remove on my phone. Look into a phone that does that, its very nice.

That would be a mark for the Nexus, though it is still Google behind the OS and tech which is becoming a bigger mark against anything sporting the Google brand for me.

Agreed in general thus I didn't specifically recommend the Nexus, but ones that have no bloatware in them.

Get the phone with the lowest SAR value.

To be honest, for now, I'd probably radiate the phone more than it would me.

I like the note series. Just make sure you get a model you can root. The one I have now, the bootloader is locked.

A shitty dumbphone. If it pisses you off you just slam it against the wall and move on with your life.

Been tempted just to stop using mobiles all together. Just get a land line and as soon as I'm out the house I'd be contactless. But I like GPS features with OS maps.
