There are very few movies that are better than the books they were adapted from. No irony. I can only think of one or two off the top of my head. Jurassic Park, the movie is better than the book. And the walking dead show is WAY better than the comics. Holy shit those comics are awful.

Forest Gump was way better than the book.

Fight Club followed the book pretty well.

Haven't read either of them so I didn't want to bring them up, but I've heard that a few times.

Virtually all of them. The exceptions tend to be when the book came second.

The Harry Potter series.

I really liked the movies, but the books are still better by far.

The magicians tv show is way better than the books. I couldn't even finish book 2, and I rarely stop reading once I start.

The Hobbit, anything by Stephen King, Atlas Shrugged (how you make a movie trilogy about the most woke AF book ever suck I have no idea), Congo (Michael Crichton should never have let people adopt his books into movies).
