The Hobbit, anything by Stephen King, Atlas Shrugged (how you make a movie trilogy about the most woke AF book ever suck I have no idea), Congo (Michael Crichton should never have let people adopt his books into movies).

The Harry Potter series.
I really liked the movies, but the books are still better by far.

Every single fucking one. I could never get into the Godfather films for some reason, but the book hooked me on page one with the explicit sex scene.Literally locked myself indoors for two days until i finished it. Books are pretty much always better. The only exception to this rule is A Clockwork Orange. I fucking hated the book, but the movie really drew me in. Also possibly Requiem for a Dream. I enjoyed the book but it wasn't anything special whereas the movie was brilliant. It was well shot, had a great, unique style to it and managed to retell the same story while keeping it fresh (by adding a character that helped explore the themes of the book and tie it all together a bit more) while trimming the fat. The book is a lot more brutal though.
