National Socialism, Fascism and Stalinism are arguably the "fittest" ideologies, when speaking about a society's physical health. The Hitler Youth promoted the phrase "Nutrition is not a private matter." In order to emphasize the importance of physical fitness in relation to service to the state.
Liberalism and all its derivatives, both Classical Liberalism and today's corrosive neo-liberalism emphasize the individual's supposed "right" to selfishness. This ideological attitude, combined with a neo-liberal society's promotion of free market capitalism has led to a population of slovenly gluttons who do not care for their bodies because their willpower is non-existing and self-discipline has not been instilled by their society.

Right you are. However, in a true free market, fat bodies would not be able to exist because there would be no socialized care for their gluttony. I mean, there could still be private charities and the like, but it would not be a guarantee.
I have nothing against the collective, except what do I have in common with the collective besides my residency?
Get as fat as you want, just don't expect us to pay for your shit lifestyle.
Edit: A word.
