Also even good mushrooms are often poisonous

Do you have a source for that?

I'm not saying don't take them, I'm saying it's definitely not the "safest" recreational drug

My counterclaim is that hallucinogens have infinitely more therapeutic potential (microdosing for focus and mood boost, depression alleviation, treatment for ptsd in mediated setting, causes neurogenesis, etc) than marijuana and it's been shown time and time again that marijuana impairs short term memory. Harm to the user is relative really.

I don't have a source on that, but the fact they make you trip does make them a poison just like alcohol and other drugs are. Also, generally anything with side effects that include diarrhea and puking are a poison. I'm not saying it's a powerful one.

Psilocybin has been shown to be an effective part of regimens to treat anxiety and depression by reputable studies. Personal experience has shown mushrooms can be very fun and give you a refreshed outlook on life after the trip. That doesn't make mushrooms the "safest" recreational drug.

That is just 100 percent not true. Learn some basic pharmacokinetics. It's mimicking neurotransmitters and activating receptor sites in atypical ways that cause euphoria: it is 100 percent not poisonous and it actually causes new brain cells to grow. It's activating 5ht2a 5ht1d 5ht2c and D2 receptor sites. EDIT: If I remember correctly, part of the reason it causes nausea is due to how most of your serotonin receptors (5htx's) are in your digestive tract.
