Good for you. I failed on my no-redbull NYR but i did take it down to one small can per day, with the no can at all every third day. Next goal it to get to one can every other day consistently.
But yesterday was no can day so now i get to drink one >:)

Yeah. I've tried weening myself off. Just doesn't work. The only way I can quit anything is cold turkey, but good for you.

Its pure poison i know. Same as coke. My adiction started after i tried some pre-workouts. Got hooked on those for about 6 months, and the red bull thing was a result of getting off the preworkouts.

Great question. I will start with the fact that I love the taste of coffee. I convince myself that that's why I drink it. But it's not. It's the caffeine. My body has become so used to getting a huge amount every day, that I really can't function until I've had my morning coffee and I hate that. I hate relying on any substance to get through the day.
If I want to workout, I hate doing it caffeinated. My heart races way too fast. It affects my meditation, my sleep, naps (if I ever want them), and my hydration level.
In short, it's just another dopamine addiction that I don't need in my life.
