Wow! At least it's not my country performing this experiment. I wonder how many Swedes are trying to leave? This will get way worse before it gets better, assuming it does get better.
Minnesota was a huge destination for the Scandinavians in the late 19th century. Maybe we could import a bunch or modern Swedes to help balance out the Somalis they let in?

Although the US would be Sweden if the left had it's way.

I don't know. We still have some immigration policy and enforcement. The stuff I see coming out of Sweden is shocking.

Their taxes are ATROCIOUSLY bad, BUT they at least do not tax their citizens abroad like the US, and I value their strong neutrality stance.
If you want to give up your citizenship to free yourself from such slavery the USG will NOT let you become Stateless.
They will not recognize a renunciation of citizenship of someone who is not a citizen of another Tax Farm they recognize.
So it's tempting, and something I may actually look into.

Why bother, if you don't have to prove your identity to get a Swedish citizenship? Just don't tie your new Swedish identity to your old one.
Hell, on that note, if you want to do what that post is proposing, make up a new name, immigrate to Sweden with it (no proof required, apparently?), then you'll be a Swedish citizen immigrating to whatever your goal country is.

Sure, why not. It's not like anyone wants to live there any more.
