These articles serve an undescribed purpose. The healthcare industry is heavily regulated in many countries, Canada being no exception. When someone is harmed through poor healthcare services often the hospital cannot take action due to legal restrictions. The hospital and staff are fully aware or the laws, but violating them technically is an offense and can bar them from their career field. The purpose is to create a ruckus to push the citizens to push the government to create a change. The staff want to help, but are unable - MRIs have weight limits - fatty is still fat and his actions are harming him in other unexpected ways. The staff can only apply for a new MRI machine at a difference hospital and work with the other schedule.

Every hospital cannot have a massive MRI for fatties as the government will not cover it. This is a limited resource for an expanding population. This individual is not unique, there are clearly many using this MRI as shown by the wait list. The hospitals and staff cannot do anything more so there is a push to force the public, and therefore the government to rectify this - especially as many people are fat.

Fatty isn't getting an MRI because he is fat that is objectively true, but should the government actively increase budgets to create resources for this population? Will not doing so harm budgets in other ways? MRIs for fatties are great if they reduce the cost of end of life surgery and care. The article attempts to be a voice in the cacophony of news. Will it have an effect? Unlikely, but it is trying. That being said we should appreciate that a media institution is striving of helping its citizens. Every time you see something like this the hospital wants this to be public as they are underfunded and cannot help - and there are many examples of this.

That being said the CT scan did not show a stroke, while the MRI may show damage you should expect obvious repercussion for damaged cells. The family is scared as they do not want fatty to die, but if it was a fatal issue fatty would have died days earlier. If they really cared about not dying they would work on his weight. They go to the doctors for all uncontrollable issues, but think the doctors are lying for controllable issues. His fat has pushed against the box of bureaucracy as the last 3 decades did not build themselves around orbs of flesh.

Strap it to a flatbed and drive it to the University of Guelph's Large Animal Clinic. They have an MRI machine that can take 1000+ pound horses. They'll probably even clip the beast's hooves free of charge

Vancouver is by the ocean. You would think they'd have a Marine Animal clinic there...
