The common citizen should be impartial to a politician and especially a businessman who's been apart of the mainstream media for decades. (LOCK HER UP) "We're gonna drain the swamp." - "The Clinton's have suffered enough." I trust Trump about as far as I can throw an elephant. This country is about to tear itself apart, so when that starts to happen, for real, then say goodbye to your firearms also.. Bad and wicked shit is coming.
To piggyback on your comment, here is the actual data (PDF Warning). I questioned the validity of the survey, but its legit. 2006 respondents evenly distributed left and right.

And those fuckers only have themselves to blame.
Now we're in a dangerous situation where the head of state, if they wanted, could lie about something and the people would just believe them. Not saying he would, but that is the situation we are in now for many people.
The media cried racist one too many times, and now most people won't believe them, even when they become so desperate for ratings that they start telling the truth.
...OK, I'll say it then: Donald Trump will lie to the American people in order to further the interests of his Jewish bosses. But the most fucked up thing is the fact that even though they've been lied to by every president since JFK, the common imbecile will still believe him (and cheer him on)!

Imagine if Hitlery had won, it would be North Korea levels of this: they literally believe anything she says, no matter how outlandish, even outside the realm of politics. Case in point, turning the left for TPP, big banks etc overnight.
The same unwashed hippies who were protesting outside of banks a few years ago are now the corporatist Red Guard. That's some brainwash.
TLDR: Many people that voted for Trump voted for him due to disillusionment with lying media, i.e., skepticism. The fact that they trust a (thus far) reliable source doesn't mean they blindly trust anything.

Isn't that why he started tweeting, so he'd get his message out before the media could twist it around?
