The guy did say during his campaign that he wanted to attempt renegotiation of NAFTA, if it was possible.

If he doesn't feels the deal is worth it after the renegotiation, then you can sure as hell bet he will go back to plans for withdrawal.

He was mouthing off about NATO too. His most recent pronouncement about that is that he really didn't understand NATO but now he does and is for it. Trump needs to talk to a few of the people in government that have worked with these things for a very long time and learn a little before he goes off half cocked.

Trump Rules Out Swift Nafta Withdrawal in Favor of Renegotiation - Bloomberg

'U.S. trade with its Nafta partners has more than tripled since the agreement took effect, rising to $1.1 trillion last year. '

'Bannon already is seen as being on the outs with Trump over reportedly sparring with Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. '

'Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said on Tuesday the administration is busy working with lawmakers to kick start renegotiation of the deal. '

'Where Trump stands on Nafta is hard to discern. '

'President Trump agreed not to terminate Nafta at this time and the leaders agreed to proceed swiftly, according to their required internal procedures, to enable the renegotiation of the Nafta deal to the benefit of all three countries," the White House said in a statement late Wednesday. '

Who knew how important trade with our number one trading partner could be?
