That's the cost of freedom. You have things you will encounter that you disagree with. It's unrealistic to expect everyone to please your tastes. You can go back to reddit, but it is a bubble of ignorance. Pretending something doesn't exist does not change the fact that is exists. If you truly want to abolish hatred you have to confront it head on.

I'm kind of with ya on that (hilariously, that's actually why I left Reddit for Voat), but I'm still gonna stick around. Good luck in your travels my friend. Ma all the gods of furious strong be with you as you crunch your opponents, and live like a windrammer as you fuck.

Don't think of voat as a single community either. It's a platform for people to post and share content.
The only difference between voat and reddit is that voat is heavily focused on not curating content whereas reddit is focused on building corporate relationships (at the expense of some content) in order to encourage different high quality pseudo 'sponsored' content. Or like they call it on YouTube, collaborations. It's how online marketing works these days.
But because of that it limits reddit's ability to be a free and open platform for content sharing, and voat has no such restriction, which makes it great.
