I don't understand why its so hard to have some humility and admit you've mistaken. Grant it, if someone is snotty about it sure but in general it's okay to be wrong sometimes.

Sounds like he made a bunch of poor life decisions. Anybody that's in teaching for the money is going to have a rough time. Teaching pays little because it's supposed to be intrinsically rewarding. Teaching for the money is like eating celery for the calories.

Hell, in the 10th grade I had a science teacher telling the whole class that accurate meant right on target, and precise meant just a little off target. The teacher had the whole class tell her she was a moron, poor US southern schools, not even once....
