I'll admit, that when I FIRST signed up, I did this. I developed my own opinions and stopped caring what others thought, soon after. I think I was just getting used to what was, and wasn't acceptable.

Spot on, I've definitively noticed this as well. The whole meek forum lives in fear of its weakest denizens, an absolute reversal of how real life works.

I hadn't noticed it, but you're right. When somebody links to a thread from here, I typically start reading it and thinking, "Wow, people are being surprisingly reasonable so far." But of course, the key players usually show up a little down the road and "establish the consensus" for everybody else.

there is tons of normal people on there but like it's been said here they are scared to be attacked by these freaks that will 100 percent be targeted.

Even more bonus points if said gif is of some sassy black woman with an afro rolling her eyes.
That's a triple virtue signal combo. You get to show that you're on the right side of history by calling out the obvious Gator/Trump supporter, AND you get to prove to everyone how much you love and support black people and women.

Yeah I've seen it from time to time. Other times you will have one of the usual suspects be early to post and the line-of-thinking-you-must-obey will be established from the start with dogpiles and bans to follow throughout the thread.
