I'ts so retarded "HEY, COAL IS DIRTY, STICK WITH GAS CARS" nigga pls, a thermoelectric turbine is a tad bit more efficient than bursting gas in flames in cylinders.

I want to know where this coal-based power generation horseshit fits in with the multi kilowatt rack of solar on my roof that charges my car after work.

And electric cars help keep the pollution at the electric generation stations. They aren't thinly coating everything with a "moderate amount of pollution," by driving around everywhere.

We know where the pollution is, which is at these coal burning stations, and we can now focus on cleaning up at those locations.

Once i told one of those "electric car conspiparanoic" that i would rater contaminate more in a controlled area than letting small kids to be meters from CO and sulfur gas fumes and he got back to his prerecorded message.
Jeez.

There's a shock. Envirotards up their own asses about how "green" they are didn't do the math.

Honestly, the appeal to me for electric cars is the ability for linear torque...not so much the environmental benefits, thats just more of a perk. Seriously, an AWD car that puts out 700 FT LBS torque at ZERO and can do 60 under 3 seconds....i dont care what the fuck its fuel is made out of, just let me drive it.

Just read the paper and they basically made every assumption that would hurt the view of electric cars.

"EDVs" is a catch-all term that includes hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery electric vehicles.

all electricity is produced from coal

This sounds like a problem with the coal plants, not EV's.

True, but it's still better than nothing. It's better people are using EV's, ignorant or not, because where that energy comes from is easy to change in the future. This isn't the case with gasoline-powered cars. There's not a whole lot of options with those.

It's good to take one small step at a time. Everything is not going to change at once.
