I have never had a madcatz product that I have been happy with. Good. If only Razor would do the same.

The Panther XL was rad as fuck, but that was like 20 years ago. Their time is passed.

As for Razor, I wouldn't be surprised if they bought up Madcatz and merged into a company that makes exponentially shittier peripherals.

Razor is pretty much the second worst compony in gaming IMO. Here is Razor's MO

  1. Make a product as creepy and shittly as possible
  2. Add at least $100 to the price
  3. Market it for "Elite gamers" and make it look like a Christmas Tree on crack

And the wort part is, it works. If you need a mechanical keyboard, I honestly recommend Unicomp. They use buckling springs and their keyboards are build to last. People say that you need red switches or some shit for gaming, but honestly keyboard are all the same and if you want a mechanical keyboard, why not get the most tactile and clicky one?

It is sad. The market cap of this company is now under $750,000 and has 150 employees. I wish I could raise money and take it over. They also own Saitek which makes some awesome controllers as well.

Saitek used to be awesome. Then Madcatz took it over and started replacing the quality parts with cheap shit. The Early X51's were something to behold, but real sim fans buy thrustmaster.

I am half way considering an indigogo.... Do you think it would work? Maybe offer free stuff for donating.

Peripherals makers Mad Catz delisted from New York Stock Exchange | PCGamesN

'Peripherals makers Mad Catz have been forcibly delisted from the New York Stock Exchange due to their “abnormally low” share price. '

'Mad Catz have indicated they will not appeal the NYSE’s decision to delist them. '

'If this is the end for Mad Catz we’ll be sorry to see them go. '

'The New York Stock Exchange issued a delisting warning in January this year, to which Mad Catz responded by saying they would consider a reverse stock split (amalgamating shares to increase their price). '

'Mad Catz have been struggling for a while now. '
