This essay totally misses the implications of Trump's victory. First, Trump is not a politician like all the rest he ran against and many voted for him for that reason. Americans have had it with politicians. Secondly, Americans liked his message and he wasn't trying to please everyone for their votes. Thirdly, the Democrats were caught playing dirty politics (another reason people hate politicians) and ran crooked Hillary oblivious to the public being on to them and Hillary.
Disregarding the ad hominem comments, you might want to read Democracy: The God That Failed, the book by Hans-Hermann Hoppe. His idea is that the winners of elections have no lasting stake in the good of the country, so they loot it as fast as they can.
