"the ultimate disrespect - a dress that is both too tight and too loose" - well it's a little difficult for the designer when your body shape is mayonnaise. Are womens clothes nowdays expected to accomidate the crease between the first and second fupa?
Aside from the obvious even human shaped women come in all different shapes, there's practically nothing that will look great on every shape. I take damn good care of my body and I'm very happy with it but there are just certain things that will not look nice on me due to my body shape. You can't expect fashion designers to create one outfit that's going to look amazing on everyone. Due to my large bust oversized blousy shirts will always make it look like I'm attempting to hide a flabby belly, when in reality I have a perfectly flat stomach. Do I bitch that designers make these blousy tops? No, I just don't buy/wear them, it's just that simple.

You can put gold on a pile of shit, but that doesn't make the shit any more valuable, it just makes people wonder why the fuck you put gold on shit.

If a clothing item is both "too loose" AND "too tight" that's a YOU problem, not a clothes problem.

No one could make that thing look good. Nothing it wears will hide the fact that it is shaped like a potato ate a meatball. Lose some fucking weight.
