Gardening. Especially if you live together. From potted herbs to full gardens. You get to enjoy the benefits of reduced stress, better air quality, improved aesthetics and - if you choose - a harvest of edibles. What's more, you can establish routine, communication skills and creativity. The initial effort is good exercise that generally gets you outside. Watch your plants grow along with your relationship. It's kind-of poetic.

I think archery is a good hobby. It doesn't matter if you're male or female, young or old, short or tall, weak or strong. At the twenty yard targets you're all equal.

Running. It is great way to get in shape together, and you can support each other. We went from no running to running a half marathon together, and it was so much fun!

My fiancé and I love dancing - swing, salsa, hustle. However I would say our main hobby is board games. There is a whole world out there of strategy and luck games beyond your more well-known Risk or Settlers of Catan. It's great because we can enjoy our two-player games but we've also reached out and made friends with a whole new group of people to get some bigger games going. We also enjoy working out together and the occasional rock climbing.

Cooking.

Some of the best dates I've been on are cooking dates. Its cheaper, delicious, and in physically closer to the bedroom.
