I have to keep reminding everyone that the "deep state" is not an army of spies in service to just Leftists.

The term is ruined now because of popular assumptions about association with the Left.

Leftist Media is the problem in how they attempt to subvert state power. Spies might be partisan as well but there are many factions with different agendas.

The New Right will sink back into obscurity if we don't start clarifying ideas and terms.

Agreed... and can you imagine the fireworks show as their heads all explode when President Trump implements Voter ID in response to Vice President Pence's investigation into widespread voter fraud?

When the democrats realize they won't win another election for a generation if they can't steal votes, their crying and screaming will become panicked hysteria.

It will be spectacular!

I think it's more to do with the fact that Trump is anti establishment and for the first time ever they're finally being threatened. The Republicans have fought Trump longer than the Democrats, and they all lost. Look at all the former Republican presidents lining up and shilling for Illary. And now all of the bullshit they worked for is threatened, which they never saw coming. Problem is that the threat is from the inside, not the outside. So unlike 9/11, they can't rally all of the people they rule over and get them to invade some other nation, because the very people who threaten them are the American people.

A lot of their power seems to be related to familiarity. The more they stay in the limelight, the more they remain relevant and capable of being elected/re-elected. Probably why they are having so many photo ops and weird ideas like TV shows for Illary. And she's given more speeches than she probably gave during her campaign.

They never had control of the deep State to begin with. The president has been a figurehead since Truman.

members of the deep state might have their own agenda but if the president tells the CIA to do something. they do it. and the president is a member of a political party and that party has corporate donors.
