I think the larger dealerships have a shop on the lot with a team that checks over cars. They have porters that check the cars, mark what needs attention, then takes them over to the shop for cleaning and maintenance.
Just checked Indeed for pay-somewhere between 8-14 dollars an hour.

When I worked at a dealership, they would have people from the unemployment line, new people every time, come out. To wash the cars, one person would drive the truck holding a huge water tank, another would use the attached power sprayer and the rest would follow with towels to dry.
Took about 5 hours total, real bitch to work around them too, but whatever.
