I saw the first episode. I enjoyed it. I was expecting the main character to be a suave White Collar-esque guy, but he wasn't, and I liked that. Not knowing what is real is fun in a show.

Some of the technology conversations are odd and forced (a discussion of KDE vs GNOME, for instance), but if you can look past that, the show was interesting. I don't know where they plan to go with the rest of the series, though. What happened at the ending happened much earlier than I would have expected, so I don't know what they plan for the next episodes. I'd be disappointed if it turned into a case of the week thing, but it's possible.

While I liked the absence of consistent inaccuracies in their portrayal of 'hacking' (as most TV shows have), the main character's constant self-referencing as being a 'hacker' and repeatedly using the work 'hack' was disjointed and made the monologues feel unnatural. The pilot and series certainly look interesting thus far, though it would be a large stretch to call this a realistic portrayal.

I can usually get past awful technological conversations in a show like this. In 24, for instance, it's basically magic, but it's consistently magic. It usually only bothers me when a show that avoided the topic before has an episode where pop spills on the keyboard and the computer starts smoking or something.

I agree with you there. I really didn't know where they were going with the second episode. And after watching it, they didn't go where I thought from the preview. It seems like it's going to have an overarching story without too much of the case of the week syndrome. That said, it seems like there is going to be some sort of 'hack' each episode, where he looks up information on 'bad' people and rights a wrong, kinda thing.

Still though, I like the series so far and I look forward to seeing where it goes. The fact that it was renewed for a second season, even before the first episode aired, gives me some hope that there is a solid direction the show is headed in.

The first two eps are great and the teaser for the third makes me hyped for the rest of the show.

I really like this show a lot. It tackles certain subject matter in a way that most shows won't touch.
