This is happening in my country. I started reading about pizzagate since it was banned in Reddit. This was a revolt by the children. They live in the foster home Hogar Seguro Virgen de La Asunción managed by the government. When a family has legal issues, the state takes the children away… Please notice this news article by publinews. There is a statement from a mother. That says she has a seventeen year old daughter that was raped by an “American man” in that foster home. She has received death threats. There are reports about child prostitution in that place.

Please use google translator, Spanish to English

This is very sad, makes me very angry. It is happening here and now. Please to everyone that is investigating pizzagate. This is a worldwide epidemic. Something I notice about a new hotel opening here. Called Good Hotel www.goodhotelantigua.com look at the logo… they have an NGO called Niños de Guatemala again please look at the logo from that NGO http://ninosdeguatemala.org/app/webroot/... This is disturbing…

I just posted this too and deleted my post because you beat me to it, but if you read this account, it says it was in trouble in the past for overcrowding and abuse. http://6abc.com/news/firefighters-say-19-dead-in-fire-at-guatemala-orphanage/1790637/

Overcrowding and escapes are probably pretty common in a third world orphanage. Idk about abuse. Orphanages are tough places for a kid to grow up.

Edit: reading other comments this seems to be a significantly rougher place.
