This is such a great motivator to lose weight. I couldn't stand being a part of this statistic.
But I know most will read this and think something very different. And I find that nothing short of tragic.

Why wouldn't they? Get too fat to work, get disability. Get too fat to shop, you get a scooter. They're catered to their entire lives.

Here we come 50% obesity and beyond. The future looks bright.

"Fewer overweight Americans have been trying to lose weight in recent years, and researchers wonder if fat acceptance could be among the reasons," reads the headline. I bet it is. And It's a shame because society should be fat shaming. Instead, this wussified country has catered to them: Made them decent clothes, super-sized their food and fed them slop like Whitney Weigh Whore as Tess the Mess as "role" models.

that is the plan.
You can't just drag people off into concentration camps anymore, nor can you have death squads. People complain when you do these things. so how do you have an ethical genocide?
You promote self destruction.
You get the undesirables to kill themselves off with food and drugs, and you profit off of it. All the while pointing out to the survivors: I told them it was bad, they did it anyway, now they are dead.
