I don't doubt that most weight loss fails. However I would put good money on the failure being due to weak ass fatties returning to their 5 McDoubles, 2 Starbucks Frappuccino, and 3 Crunchwrap Burritos per day habit rather than conditions, genetics, or society.

Exactly. A diet is not a short term thing which produces lifelong results. What they need and lack the ability to achieve, are permanent life style changes. How this is so friggin' difficult for them to conceive is just beyond me.

The guy in the OP is probably also working a dead-end job with no room for advancement because "starting a business is hard and most of them fail anyway" or "getting a promotion is tough and most people get rejected anyway"
He's probably single because talking to girls is scary and most guys get rejected anyway.
So many fatties out there just sitting around waiting to die.

When you eat like shit and get super fat, then diet or change some habits for a bit to lose weight, THEN GO BACK TO THE SAME OLD HABITS you're going to get fat again.
It's pretty fucking simple.

Man I should have a poster of myself made. I was 245 at 5'8" and dropped 100lbs by surprise surprise diet change and exercise. That was over nine years ago. I am now 158lbs from working out and I am healthier and happier every year. I live an active healthy lifestyle and I am taking a personal trainer certification exam next week. I can't stand people who just throw excuses for just being fucking lazy.

Those studies about fat affecting cognitive abilities don't even need to be done. Just listen to a fat person rationalize their weight and you'll be convinced that being fat makes you retarded.
