Cardiff Met? That's a new one to me.

They probably have to do this to make people realise it even exists.

On the word swaps. Mankind to humankind. That sums up the stupidity. Man is a contraction of human isn't it?

Man has two purposes, as the male human, and humans in aggregate.

And what's wrong with homosexual and heterosexual?

None of these words are offensive or wrong to use.

The problem is people taking offense where none is due because of arbitrary sensitivity.

Where does that stupidity end? Sausages banned for looking like a penis? Flapjack banned for having the word flap in it, and jack, a male name.

Fucking morons!

At least as a parent you know your kid will learn fuck all of use there and to avoid it for the shit hole it probably is.

University bans phrases such as 'mankind' and 'gentleman's agreement' in favour of gender-neutral terms | The Independent

'A UK university has been accused of censoring free speech for banning phrases such as “right-hand man” and “gentleman’s agreement” in favour of more inclusive, gender neutral language. '

'A spokesperson for Cardiff Metropolitan University said of the new policy: “The University is committed unreservedly to the principle of academic freedom within the law.“It is also committed to providing an environment where everyone is valued and treated with dignity and respect. '

'Students and staff could face disciplinary procedures if they fail to adhere to the language policy, but some have accused Cardiff Metropolitan of restricting their free speech, labelling the policy an “insulting” attempt to dictate their choice of words. '

'Analysis by Spiked magazine suggested campus censorship had increased steadily over the past three years – with a growing number of institutions actively clamping down on ideas, literature and guest speakers that are not in keeping with their own values. '

'Cardiff Metropolitan University’s revised code of practice states more appropriate terms should be used where possible, adding that students should not allow their “cultural background” to affect their choice of words on campus.“Forefathers”, “mankind” and “sportsmanship” are also on the list of 34 words and phrases to be avoided as part of efforts to “embrace cultural diversity” by the university. It's in the UK who fucking cares. They made their bed, let them sleep in it. When I wake up in a pool piss and shit they will finally realize what "shit the bed" really means.

I feel bad for all the people that are against us though
