Well, the Dunning-Kruger Effect IS a thing, but sometimes a smart person just knows they're smart and a not-smart person knows they're not-smart.

Intelligence is knowing 2 plus 2 equals 4. Wisdom is knowing WHY 2 plus 2 equals 4. Intelligence plus Wisdom equals Genius. But here's where the equation gets a bit sticky...

Genius plus Hubris equals a Fool. All the Genius in the world will do you jack diddly of good, if all it does is get you screwed over. Humility is knowing what you know, what you don't know, and having the wherewithal to admit both, when applicable. Genius plus Humility, is what equals Smart.
