Hearing about MO reminded me of a 2015 MO auditor's suicide. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Schweich

FYI... Claire is one of the top 10 wealthiest US Senators.

Her husband got rich syndicating Section 8 real estate deals, mainly in rural areas. He soaked up MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in "free money" and low cost, no personal guarantee loans from the Trillion Dollar Theft a/k/a the Democrats Stimulus Bill that Obama and democrats used to reimburse their donors. There was an article about him peddling limited partnership units in the US Senate dining room.

Her first husband got busted on a casino boat in Kansas City... sounded like he was smoking a joint or coking. I believe he died in the past few years.

I don't know about her and PG, but she is as unethical (corrupt) as they come.

Claire is an idiot and does the Dem establishment's bidding. She's a useful foot soldier and will happily trot out the talking points of the day. She faces almost assured political destruction in 2018 because there's no way Missouri is going to re-elect her, assuming the Republicans don't nominate someone like Aiken. Missouri has an open primary and many democrats were told to vote for Aiken and a lot of Republicans were scratching their head as to why. Then they found out. The Dems had this thing he said all along and played the long game. The chances of them pulling this sort of thing off again is slim, and Missouri went for Trump bigly.

Please let's not defend Sessions like he did something wrong. He did nothing wrong. The Dems are furious that HRC lost and Trump's speech sent them into Russian panic mode. Dismiss the Dems tell them to get over it, we won. Don't say well McCaskill spoke to Russians. They want to make people believe Session/Trump admin involved with Russians and not legitimate president. No Russian evidence, even Obama said no involvement.

I do not know if Sessions did anything wrong or not. None of us do. I tend to think that he did not because of his track record.

That said, he should have just been honest when asked about it, especially in light of the fact that the RUSSIAN BS meme has been out there for months.

If you actually look at the entire transcript of that particular hearing, the vast majority was Sessions answering questions about a questionnaire he had submitted. In that questionnaire was a question asking if Sessions had met with Russian officials and discussed the campaign. He gave a one-word answer "No." Later on Franken asked him a word-salad question talking about that Buzzfeed/CNN pissplay story, and Sessions answer is to a particular part of that question and not "Did you ever talk to Russian officials". Really, once you read the transcript it is a big ball of nothing. Sessions was never asked if he had past contacts with Russian officials. That is the lie that the WaPo and NYT stories make by omitting nearly all the context.
