Wow, I must have really irked you guys for you to take what I said out of context, post a similar click-bait type of post about it and to paint me as a clandestine enemy (SJW) without knowing anything about me.
Please explain how the black man in that shitty post can be African if there is no Africa?
In regards to J.R.R. Tolkien's personal feelings about Africans and Africa:Please read the Tolkien letters in which he clearly states his sadness at the maltreatment of the "coloured" people and his strong ties to South Africa. In one of said letters he wrote to his son Christopher, who was sent to South Africa by the British for Flight Training:
I hope you will have some more leave in genuine Africa, ere too long. Away from the 'lesser servants of Mordor'.
He was referring to the people Christopher was surrounded by daily as "Lesser Servants of Mordor". That's a clear enough attempt by J.R.R. Tolkien to demonize the British Empire in Africa.
So please, tell me more bs about how you're not racist and only proud of your race. (added for clarification: Because if that's what you're trying to do; you picked the worst way to do it with that post.)
Furthermore:
I agree with you but we're talking about a videogame here, about a fantasy world,... with a black person in it... who... the fuck... cares???
It's like the SJW complaining about the "Butt Problem" in video games all over again, only it's with undertones of xenophobia instead of undertones of insecurity.
Let the black man in the fantasy video game happen (added now for clarification: if it makes sense from a stolyline point of view and doesn't change any already established characters/events or the books themselves) and save yourself from the hypocrisy the SJW will highlight when they complain about similar shit by saying "Who are you to complain about us complaining about the butt in the game! You complained about black people in videogames!"
Focus on highlighting the SJW hypocrisy instead of creating your own and sapping the ground on which your soapbox stands.

My opinion is clearly stated in this:
if it makes sense from a stolyline point of view and doesn't change any already established characters/events or the books themselves
and this (from yet another post):
Maybe he is part of a storyline that has him as a "defector" or some shit. Maybe his dad raped last time he was in town.
I don't like all that pandering bs going on with the Female GhostBusters, Black Annie or any other such "re-imagining" but this is not black Aragon that we're talking about here. It's an addition to an already vast and diverse lore that can very easily account for such complexity; if the writer wants to go down that path.

This is what's stupid about the post you linked:
Please circle Africa for me.

Edit: clarifying post to reduce misunderstanding.
