You don't know what late is until you've lived in Georgia (the country). What I would give for people be only 15-30 minutes late... "I'll be there at 9" means "if I show up at all, I will be there between 10 and noon". If you're American, and you're complaining about people being "late" by a few minutes, just get over it. There's more to life than obsessing about how the rest of the world isn't meeting your personal standards. Life goes on, and things will still get done, mostly, if a few minutes later than you expected.

Because they were never taught the rule that if you are not 15 minutes early, then you are late.

We call that running on nigger time, If you're on time or a little early it's called having a sense of responsibility and that's a good thing. People who are early or on time seem to do better in life because it shows they value time and other peoples time. People who are late constantly show others they don't value your time.

I think it boils down to arrogance honestly. The value their time above everyone elses.

Years ago fella said "when a man is late he's told you what his word is worth." I've lived that and found that it simplifies my life.

I'm not dirt bag bad, but I'm the guy who is always running through the door 10 seconds early. For me it's for being in nihilistic phase because I've been taking in too many redpill and day to day shit just doesn't matter - but I got to keep doing them, so I just don't care until I'm in 11th hour and then run around to get were I need to be or do what I need to get done.

When I was growing up people didn't have cell-phones. So, you'd always get somewhere well before time. If not, then whatever you had planned was fucked. These days kids are used to having technology. They're extremely reliant on it. If they are late they can just go, "Hey, bro, am late. Where you at?" Then the situation is (sort of) corrected.
