I really try and not be, but it somehow happens. I live 5 mins from work, wake up an hour early, still be 5 mins late. I hate it.

You don't know what late is until you've lived in Georgia (the country). What I would give for people be only 15-30 minutes late... "I'll be there at 9" means "if I show up at all, I will be there between 10 and noon". If you're American, and you're complaining about people being "late" by a few minutes, just get over it. There's more to life than obsessing about how the rest of the world isn't meeting your personal standards. Life goes on, and things will still get done, mostly, if a few minutes later than you expected.
Because they were never taught the rule that if you are not 15 minutes early, then you are late.

We call that running on nigger time, If you're on time or a little early it's called having a sense of responsibility and that's a good thing. People who are early or on time seem to do better in life because it shows they value time and other peoples time. People who are late constantly show others they don't value your time.

I am never fucking late. If I say I'll be there, I'll be there. Now getting me to say I'll be there... that's another matter. 🐐
