Tony Hawk is such a joke now, and I'm referring to both the washed-up professional skateboarder and the video game franchise.
The last decent Tony Hawk's game to be released was American Wasteland a decade ago, and while Proving Ground and Project 8 were certainly mediocre, the franchise has plummeted to new levels of crappiness since Robomodo took over development from Neversoft, who have been relegated to crapping out Guitar Hero and Call of Duty sequels.
At this rate, Activision-Blizzard are milking his brand so fucking hard, that I totally expect Tony Hawk to make an appearance in Heroes of the Storm this time next year, as a hero that does nothing but endless grinds, manuals, flip tricks, grab tricks and reverts to damage his enemies in the field.

Seems like they haven't updated the physics at all since it's early days, and the build-a-park mode looks just as inflexible as when the series first introduced it on the PS2.

I dunno, maybe, just maybe Robomodo might get it right this time.
Oh wait, the game is still made using the Unreal Engine, the physics still look very off, and you still look like you're floating in mid-air when you're grinding a rail?
I take that back, Robomodo are fucking terrible and I can't believe Tony Hawk is degrading his brand by continuing to work with these imbeciles!

Please, for the love of skateboarding video games, let this be the catalyst for a new entry into the Skate franchise.
