Great news! SNES has a beautiful gaming library. Glad to see a project like this active!

I have no idea why there are so many shitty postal workers. I once had a postal worker steal my shit. A POSTAL WORKER STOLE MY SHIT. It still pisses me off, because these jackasses are still making a good living. Fuckers. I hope they're all replaced with robots.

hell yeah. great to hear. this is genuinely good work that doesn't deserve the buckleberries and gorse the rest of life has to go through. (this is not sarcasm. i fully support this entire project and wish it nothing but the best and i hope it reaches completion...i love video games more than i should and 8-16 bit games hold a special place in my heart and life's timeline)

It is my opinion that packing heavy & fragile things is an excellent test for determining if a person is on the low side of the Dunning–Kruger effect.

I had an over $2k package sent with signature delivery and the USPS person just scribbled some garbage and left it in my mailbox. I was tempted to claim I never received it and let USPS eat the bill, but realized that I had more integrity than USPS.

Fantastic news. A pity that so many of these games can't be legitimately released on virtual consoles due to copyright issues but at least they'll be preserved.

Wish consumers had a right to override license deadlocks. Sort of "make an agreement or you'll both lose the exclusive rights" way.

I think the best solution will always be far, far shorter and limited IP rights.
Take for example a potential solution for software: 10 years after release and it's free for all. (The owner is not required to release sources, but anyone can reverse everything they want)
This would solve an incredible amount of issues. Naturally, a game that includes stuff like music and art would require additional considerations... but welp, I do think the solution to that is too, shorter and more limited rights.

They'll be dumped and preserved. The question is whether someone will come after them if they're made available on a web site. There's plenty of places to get dumps from lots of different consoles but their legality is highly suspect. They usually say you can only use the dumps if you have a legitimate copy of the game on the original media but even that's not entirely true with things like the DMCA.
