They spend most of their time down there in scooters or sitting, I imagine. When we were at Disney a couple of weeks ago it was an odd mix of people. The majority of people seemed to be either morbidly obese or really fit. There seems to be no in between lately.

I imagine they love Disney for the same reason anyone who loves Disney does. It brings back childhood memories, everyone there is "happy", the food is good, and it's fun. That's why I love it at least.

P.S. When we went to see Country Bear Jamboree there was this extremely obese couple. He was probably 450 and she was not far behind. When we went into the theater they plopped down right in the middle of their row, instead of moving all the way to the left like you are supposed to. It was pathetic.

While we are on the subject, has anyone been to Disneyworld AND Disneyland recently? I took my daughter to Florida a few years ago and am taking her to California this summer. Florida was full of fats, is CA that bad?

As a side note, I like Disney too but only because it makes my kid so very happy and some of the movies are pretty cute. These planets were like ALL about it. It was weird, especially when they didn't have kids.

Havent been to Disneyland, but I am the same...I enjoy Disney and the classic movies plus the escape from reality (among other fantasies) but the fats....they just bring something different to it. Barf.

I would honestly be pretty enthused about disney stuff if fats weren't so into it. Same with anime. I love stuff that's dainty/girly/cute, I love cartoons, I love dressing feminine and theme parks and stuff, but I stay far farrrr away from things as heavily tainted with fat as those two subjects are.
