I'm not saying he's flawless, but people are generally very ill informed about who Hitler was, on both sides. The documentary I linked isn't so much about Hitler himself as it's more about what the "good side" actually did to Germany and the German people during WW2, and it will tell you lots of things that the victors have hidden from the history books that shows their true nature.

For the record, I'm not a socialist, I don't follow an ideology where someone tells me what to think. But since we are on the topic, what is so bad about real socialism with your own people only? (As in national socialism)

The idea that Hitler is a mindless killer was founded in Russian propaganda. The U.S.A. was largely opposed to war, but Russia had skin in the game.

It is taking power and production from individuals for the sake of the group. I have seen socialism work for a while in an ethnically and culturally homogeneous people, but the nature of socialism always rots from the inside. We only need to look to Sweden to see the outcome of this. When you decouple the need for individual responsibility you cause a rot in the psyche of individuals, and an over feminization of the culture. This ends with a matriarchal behavior such as we see in modern politics where we need to be mothers or nannies to everyone. This leads to cultural and in the case of your issues forced ethnic mixing. We can see this quite plainly played out in front of us right now.

So back to the subject at hand, even if Hitler was a great tactician and won everything, the Germany of today probably would still be rotting and probably letting in migrants by the boatload unless they realized socialism is not the way. There is no way that the nationalist and ethnic purity component of the Reich would resist the rot of socialism.
