This may be true, but is it really an efficient improvised weapon? By the time it gets from the foot to the hand you've already lost significant time. It is unwieldy to use and requires force to pierce skin. It also has a high chance of breaking so multiple attacks would be minimal.

If horse riding was involved, yes. That's one of the reasons they where designed for. That and to make someone seem taller.

I.... dont think you can fully practice your instinctual flight or fight response on the back of a horse. More improtantly, jumping off the horse in an emergency would probably be impaired by wearing high heels. And they are nothing like they used to be.
