The fats concept of "fat/obese/morbidly obese" is so skewed due to so many people being fat. They don't understand that if the average person is classified as "fat" that doesn't change the medical definition of fat.

Correct, and even worse is their damn “I know I’m a fat fuck, I’m never going to do anything about it, I’m proud of it, medically and scientifically validated good advice can go to hell and I’m going to do everything I can to be a bad example and encourage others to become physical train wrecks like me” attitude. The way the fats promote bad physical condition and bad health never ceases to amaze.

It's even worse when they do it to kids

Lol, the "impossible body we are expected to aspire to" is exactly my height and weight.

I don't really think of my weight much, and use my pants (some of which I've had since high school) as a guide, and hardly every weigh myself, let alone "obsess" over it. But I guess I really shouldn't exist because my body is impossible to get.

BMI is flawed. It doesn't account for muscle vs fat. But with a few exceptions there's only so far off it can be.

Exceptions include body builders - guy on the left is 305 lbs at 5'11" - and a few people who simply don't exercise at all despite not eating much.

with a few exceptions

Exactly. There are very few exceptions, except every fat thinks they're an exception just because they pick up a weight for ten minutes twice a week, when in fact you can usually really tell the people who it doesn't work for (people like your friend there).

There are more exceptions, however the problem is that BMI is normally too conservative i.e. telling people that they are still metabolically healthy when they are not. The reverse happens for a very few men who are doing body building, for women it basically never occurs.

It could be argued that BMI is “flawed”, but I think it’s more incomplete than anything else. For an evaluation of a persons condition, I think using a combination of BMI, body fat %, waist/height ratio and waist/hip ratio gives a far better eval that nobody could argue with.

Usually an exception will be if you lift and are only a few pounds out of the healthy range (exception is bodybuilders).

Hummed and hawed about posting this, but I thought since most of the fatties referenced in the article were 5'7" and so am I so here it goes...

Here's a photo of me and my sister at our third sister's bridal shower. I'm the blonde, she's the brunette. I'm 5'7" and was 130 pounds in that photo (BMI 20.4). The dress I was wearing was a size 4, and I was also 8 weeks pregnant at the time. For reference, my sister is 5'9" and 125 pounds (BMI 18.5) but looks slightly shorter because she was wearing shorter heels and also slouching a bit. Point being, we're both in the normal BMI category.

In this photo the woman is supposedly the same weight that I was, but 7 inches shorter, putting her into the overweight category. Unless you are a moron, I think it's blatantly obvious that this person classifies as "chunky" at the very least.

This one is very obviously obese. You can see it in her face. I know she's making a face, but she's got a chunky face regardless. And of course, the author of this asinine article cites "Boobes!" as its first argument, because that's the first thing these obeasts try to hide behind. Like we say around here all the time: a fatty bragging about having big tits is like bragging about having a speedboat because your canoe is going over a waterfall.

This monstrosity is the same height as me but more than twice my body weight in my original photo. Again, it's making a stupid face, but you can tell that it's got a moonface anyways. Its knees are "innies" because of all the fat, and its got a gunt that it's desperately trying to hide under its skirt. If it looks that fat on the outside, just imagine what's going on with its organs.

Fat has become the norm, so shitladies like me & my sister are classed as "anorexic" while cows like the above are deemed "normal". Obeasts think that unless they're on "My 600 Pound Life" there's nothing wrong with them and they're not fat. It's only when you put them next to women with a healthy BMI that they realize how disgusting they truly are.

ETA: didn't even see the porker in the mirror on the right in the last photo. Holy shit

LOL I doubt the girl at 5' 130 lbs is a size 4. Someone in the comments claimed to be a size 4 at 5'2" at 137. I'm 5'2.5" and I call bullshit. I would feel awful at that weight.

I'm a similar height to her and I weigh almost 40lbs less. Bitch is FAT.

There are exceptions to BMI, but you'll never have to wonder if they are exceptions or not.

The massive fucking muscles will be a dead giveaway.
