Awesome post! Good old find - just proof the internet never forgets. The pictures these whales put up will be there forever....Fat, not even once!

The fats concept of "fat/obese/morbidly obese" is so skewed due to so many people being fat. They don't understand that if the average person is classified as "fat" that doesn't change the medical definition of fat.

Correct, and even worse is their damn “I know I’m a fat fuck, I’m never going to do anything about it, I’m proud of it, medically and scientifically validated good advice can go to hell and I’m going to do everything I can to be a bad example and encourage others to become physical train wrecks like me” attitude. The way the fats promote bad physical condition and bad health never ceases to amaze.

BMI is flawed. It doesn't account for muscle vs fat. But with a few exceptions there's only so far off it can be.

Exceptions include body builders - guy on the left is 305 lbs at 5'11" - and a few people who simply don't exercise at all despite not eating much.

It's funny that he's pretending Arnie didn't use roids. The dude is my hero, but let's not bullshit ourselves.

I think that Arnold has even admitted he used steroids. I think the problem is that people don't understand how steroids work. They aren't some magic medicine that makes you look jacked, you still have to put hours and hours in at the gym. Steroids simply help you recover faster so you can work even harder. Basically steroids aren't for lazy people because they wouldn't do them any good.

The answer is steroids. Arnold Schwarzenegger did use steroids, but in much smaller doses than today and only 2 months per year.

It literally says he did. I only skimmed the article but it seemed to be making the point that he didn't use as much, not that he didn't use any.

with a few exceptions

Exactly. There are very few exceptions, except every fat thinks they're an exception just because they pick up a weight for ten minutes twice a week, when in fact you can usually really tell the people who it doesn't work for (people like your friend there).

Usually an exception will be if you lift and are only a few pounds out of the healthy range (exception is bodybuilders).

There are more exceptions, however the problem is that BMI is normally too conservative i.e. telling people that they are still metabolically healthy when they are not. The reverse happens for a very few men who are doing body building, for women it basically never occurs.

Lol, the "impossible body we are expected to aspire to" is exactly my height and weight.

I don't really think of my weight much, and use my pants (some of which I've had since high school) as a guide, and hardly every weigh myself, let alone "obsess" over it. But I guess I really shouldn't exist because my body is impossible to get.

The people that bitch about BMI because "it doesn't account for muscle" are always the people who have never touched a free weight or worked a labor job. BMI was designed mid industrial revolution when machines were not doing as much work for us. If anything BMI needs to be updated for sedentary lifestyles.

Edit: Underweight or not, look at that skinnyfat turkey neck. Yuck!

It's like the female equivalent of this aka IIFYM bod.

There is no fat hate here.

Skinny fats are not fats.

They show some restraint in not shoveling food into their faces all the time. They don't smell and most likely don't walk around with massive (tee hee) entitlement taking much more than their share.

Some people don't work out. It is just not a priority for them. If they are not fat they are good.

LOL I doubt the girl at 5' 130 lbs is a size 4. Someone in the comments claimed to be a size 4 at 5'2" at 137. I'm 5'2.5" and I call bullshit. I would feel awful at that weight.

There are exceptions to BMI, but you'll never have to wonder if they are exceptions or not.

The massive fucking muscles will be a dead giveaway.
