They think it's "coffee" and that everyone is as dumb as they are. "I'll bring my coffee to the gym!" only it's not coffee, it's a sugar bomb and everyone knows it. They think it looks better than drinking a milkshake but it's basically all the same, they're just idiotic obese cows who have no clue what healthy is.

I do the exact same thing at my gym and this EXACT same situation happened to me (well, minus the Starbucks) and I did the EXACT same thing. These stupid women were taking up the entire track so I kept running through them every lap and they kept being upset at me because I was actually using the track for its intended purpose. I kept doing it until they finally left.

good on you for shoving through them instead of just letting them block you!

I got on to say how you shouldnt shame a fat person at the gym, you want the fatness to stop this is how. Don't judge a book by its cover after reading the story in sure you wanted to do/say a lot more how annoying.

If there's a fat at the gym who wants to lose weight and get fit, by all means, I'll show them how to lift, give them tips, etc. I'm very supportive, because, after all, this is how the obesity crisis will resolve, one person at a time.
If you're there for validation, to post selfies on social media, or on some lazy new years resolution trip, or in anyway are making my life difficult, I will shame you to the depths of hell.

Getting fit starts in the kitchen, exercise helps but what hams do at the gym isn't exercise. Not even close. They go there for pats on the back and selfies, then they reward their fifty calorie workout with 650 calories of a McDonald's. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Are you track lanes not labeled? Indoor tracks I've seen are labelled with lanes for walking/running as well as what direction to go on a given day. If you're strolling in the running lane, there's no question whose fault it is.
[–] ForgotMyName ago
Well that's useless. At my favorite one there weren't even any fats around. People just used the walking lane for cool down, PT, and things like farmer carries. Even then it was nice to have a designated lane for such things. Maybe you can make a suggestion. ;)

I cannot stand running on my gym's track when people are there. There's an initiative in my town to give fats free passes to the walking track in the winter if they're at risk of the beetus and they walk three abreast and block the entire way because the track is so small. It's easier to just use the treadmill.

I find I have a little more, I don't know, incentive? Drive? Determination? On the track, just because I can push myself and say "alright, just to the end of this lap" rather than "alright, just until this number on the screen changes to 4". But to each their own.
And free passes to the track? That's bullshit. Hang on while I go put 200 pounds on, maybe then I'll get pity handouts too.

Yeah, I zone out bad on treadmills which isn't always bad. But it's -20C outside so gotta tough it until winter.
I was jealous until I remembered all the money I save on not buying disgusting food, blood testing strips, and early caskets.

You just need to do some improvising.

Are you fucking serious? They're going to reward becoming obese? Do they really think giving them free passes will accomplish anything other than a few new Facebook pages?
