Sorry but...

The Iraqis kind of have a bit if a point...

I mean the US trashed Iraq on the orders of Israel. For something the Saudis did.

And the US are still in Iraq. It is not like they trashed the Iraqi regime and put something better instead of Sadam. The US just fucked Iraq for fun.

And now someone complains they they want to kill him?

White people are targeted in almost every non-White country.

If you have illegally invaded a sovereign nation and have soldiers on the ground, it's a bit hard to argue that they are not fair targets to the local populace.

If you had Iraqi's in your town with guns, would you be targeting them?

Have you ever traveled to Africa? Latin America? Middle East? Some parts of Asia?

In Mexico, someone attempted to kidnap me. In Malaysia I was threatened by a group of 6 military guys who wanted to attack me just for being a Kafir with a Muslima friend. Walking in the jungle 2 masked Malays with machetes confronted me. I was threatened in the US because I ventured into a Black area. I was almost robbed in a park in the US by a Hispanic man. I was pick-pocketed and ripped off many times in Vietnam. I had a knife put to my face in Vietnam. I had to fight a Black guy in Europe because he was beating a White woman. Everyone I know who has lived and worked in Africa has been targeted. We had many close calls and had a few friends killed. 4 Blacks attacked me in my home town for walking through their neighborhood (which used to be MY neighborhood but they took over). That is only my experience. All my friends are well traveled and they all have had experiences. It is well known that White skin makes you a target in non-White countries. Part of that has to do with wealth. Part has to do with hate.

Did the marine bother asking the Iraqi why he felt that way?

Well yeah, starvation that killed over a million Iraqis and an invasion that may have killed up to 500,000 more will tend to make some extremists.

What's wrong with this picture?

"We have heard that half a million children have died. I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?" and Albright replied "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price, we think the price is worth it."

What does that have to do with his point? If huge numbers of Iraqis would kill an American on sight, it's very clearly a stupid idea to let them into the country.

You know this is true and that you're going on a non-sequitur. Downvoats will never make you right or fix your butthurt. Only the truth can do that.

Those Iraqis don't hold full, legitimate visas. The order didn't ban just refugees, it included people with green cards. That's a major contract from the US government, issued after an extensive and expensive application process. It's like your landlord breaking your lease, locking you out of your house and telling you no longer have a home for 90 days. It's breaking a contract America had already made with these visa holders.

Well of course they would. But it's because they're so pissed off at Americans because they invaded their country and killed thousands of their people for oil, all on Bush's orders, when they shouldn't have even been in Iraq in the first place. What did he expect a welcoming committee?

Well, we did invade their country.

I'm pretty sure I'd shoot an Iraqi belligerent on American soil.

In Baghdad, prior to 2003, under Saddam, the murder rate was less than 10 per year. Back then, any Westerner could have visited, and been safe. Even after the invasion, there were several people from the civil defense and military that wanted to keep Iraq stable and were bringing their forces to corporate in joint forces. Some of the higher ranking officers even spoke English and wanted to work directly with Garner, Wilkerson, Bodine, et. al.

Bush/Rummy/Cheney installed total idiots, dismantled the highly skilled reconstructions I just mentioned, and replaced them with college interns and morons that formed the provision authority (CPA). Under them, the country fell to pieces.

Had this happened in America, it would have also fallen to pieces. Fuck just look around on Voat. The US is a god damn powder keg. State propaganda and domestic security forces are the only thing holding this country together. They're well funded and hold it together quite well, at the expense of us having the highest incarceration rate of any country in the world, as well as the most misinformed public out of any country in the world.

I highly recommend documentary Iraq No End in Sight, which deals with the reconstruction.

Iraq The Untold Story is a great documentary about an American who visits Iraq after the invasion. He interviews several people, including Iraqi land mind defusers, travels between both Baghdad and the semi-autonomous northern region.

As an American this here is what I would hope we all would say. Invade us?! You'll get shit till you leave or die! However their hostility to the west isn't what the issue is. This is a border issue, closing the border to combative immigrants. Regardless of the actions of the previous POTUS or before that you disagree with. We still have family here at home.

Forget Kuwait? Pretty much what started this all...

I remember Kuwait.

Iraq accused Kuwait of stealing their oil using slant drilling. Iraq also had incentive to extract money from Kuwait over this given their massive debts to the US over the Iraq Iran war. I am not saying they were right to invade Kuwait but this is the reason the Iraqi regime cited for taking action.

Now, when you bring up Kuwait with regard to the US one of the more important facts to consider is why we entered the conflict.

Kuwaiti Diplomat's daughter Nayirah lies during testimony to drum up support for the war.

If Kuwait could be considered connected at all, it certain isn't the beginning.

Also, I don't give a shit about Kuwait or the people that live there.

Incoming truth bomb. It is extremely unfortunate that people cannot see what is clearly happening before their eyes, yet cling to antiquated neoliberal idealism's. Do people not realize that we have bombed and destroyed their countries on the whims of neoliberal/ neoconservative policies, and the people of the affected countries might be angry about that ?

yuri bezmenov - the process of demoralization is ultimate and final - no amount of facts to the contrary can change their opinions - the USA citizens IQ is too low to resist the brainwashing even if you clearly prove it to them
