No. It was a thermonuclear weapon underneath the buildings. This aligns with isotope studies, especially tritium concentrations in the water, which can only be explained by a nuclear event, not by lasers or regular bombs. This is why 250,000 people have cancer.

Can't be thermonuclear if the the building a were dustified and paper survive d the the heat
If the thermonuclear explosion was muffled by 70 yards of vaporized bedrock, you betcha, you can find some paper even after the heat, especially considering the buildings are however hundred of feet tall, leaving the top offices almost 1/10th of a mile above the explosion.
