I completely disagree. I think our world is vile and immoral, the conclusion of "it feels good do it" Protestantism. Here's some quotes from Luther. If we allow them - the Commandments - any influence in our conscience, they become the cloak of all evil, heresies and blasphemies. < satanic ...with regard to God, and in all that bears on salvation or damnation, (man) has no ‘free-will’, but is a captive, prisoner and bond slave, either to the will of God, or to the will of Satan. < anti christ
We now consume the fruits of your "better" ideas. Relative morality, feminism, abandonment of culture, hatred of family, etc. Enjoy.

Frankly, I'm not a religious person at all, but the issues you're citing sound more like a byproduct of the worship of government (socialism) than Protestantism. It's not people that are what I'm sure you'd call 'half-assed Christians' and their new-fangled ideas, just people that think our country is supposed to provide for them.
Moreover, when we draw comparisons between people of other faiths and Satan, we stoop to a level currently populated by.. Islam. Protestants didn't ruin the world, socialists did. Again, I stated that my suggestion of an Islamic split of ideals was mostly a joke, and I think the real solution for the Middle East is forced isolation. Either they'll kill the radicals or the radicals will kill them. If the former, we test their ability to rejoin the civilized world. If the latter, we "bomb the shit out of them," as the President would say.
It would only require a rule that in order to stay in NATO, you cannot accept refugees from nations outside of NATO. Also we'd kick Turkey out and bomb all airports in the Middle East. Finally, to ensure this plan isn't questioned, we'd admit our other allies, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Japan and South Korea, into NATO, and force them to pay our military bill as we contain the Middle East entirely with drones. Nothing goes in or out. No trade, no travel. They can sort their shit out themselves.
To specify here, I'm including the developed nations in the region, like the UAE and Qatar. Every Middle Eastern country except Israel.
