It's really easy to eat horrible for cheap. 2 loafs of store brand sandwich bread, some margarine, and a big pack of store brand cheese will only run $8 or so and will make 24 grilled cheese at 350 calories per sandwich (double cheese). 8400 calories for two loafs and I've watched it vanish in 3 days. Throw in liquid calories and you've got the 3500 calories a day it takes to maintain/grow morbid obesity.

Always wondered the same. Also, they always cry about how expensive it is to eat healthy*. You gotta understand that taxpayers usually fund those creatures to be able to afford so much food, too.
*healthy = their definition of healthy - organic bio non-gmo no pesticide gluten free super whole foods.

My money is on hammies thinking "Gluten free is just a whole new range of foods to eat, I'll spin it that it's actually healthier than regular foods, as an excuse to eat them!".
IIRC, It's actually worse for people who can stomach gluten.
Because Whole wheat is also a major source of dietary fiber, which the bowels need to work properly. Which is one of the many things you can't have going gluten-free.
And therefore can lead to unnecessary bowel-cancer risks in otherwise healthy people.
This is just a guess, but I bet a lot of it goes on a credit card. Fat people are as terrible with money as they are with their diets

I went grocery shopping the other day and spent $132 on food for roughly 7 people for 5 days. This didn't include cereal because we get that at Costco and only the kids eat it. It also doesn't include the kids' lunches as they either buy at school or are in daycare. This does include snacks, fruits and veggies, meat for 4 meals, two toys and some laundry stuff.
We're all pretty thin but no one is going hungry. We just don't eat all the damn time!

This is all I see when I look at fat people. Deficit quantities flashing red. The physical manifestation of a guilt so irredeemable it makes them unworthy of life. A joke about overproduction and consumption.

i've shitlorded hammate with this logic. She works hard for her money. She's always broke though. Why is she always broke? She spends so much money on food. Any time she says something about needing a new whatever but being short the money I say "well, when you eat less you save money, especially if you're not buying sugary drinks and chocolate all the time. Bonus is you lose weight like you say you want to. It's a win/win situation if you just practice some self control about fucking food. Eat when you're hungry, not when you want. You don't even know what being hungry really is yet".
In the last 2 months she has lost 15 pounds. 15 more to go to be human again!
