I thought the point of this site was to be reddit but with no censorship?

Digg actually died, then came back as a curated link-of-the-day type site. I actually visit there more now then I did when it was the proto-reddit, not gonna lie.

Also, the overwhelming majority of us came in from reddit at some point.

Reddit rejects are worse than redditors

Just like with every other migration wave; I'm fine with them as long as they behave.

Whatever one thinks of it this place will probably see more and more law enforcement and especially media scrutiny.

That's fine, though. It is a public and free site. I just don't want people refusing to act according to community standards and acting like this is reddit.

I would like to think that the people making the switch are the type that want a platform like this.

Then why didn't they switch sooner? Worse happened over there and they're JUST NOW coming over.

Maybe they didn't know about it until now.

Meh , it is like the 4th migration with the same "my post got deleted" & "transferring mod teams" drama , we will spend another week blocking v/therealaltright , v/altrightwhatever & the likes, then the admins will show up and spank the naughty ones and everything will go back to normal .
