The Clintons are one thing and I wouldn't call that a laughing stock, they up until recently had a lot of pull around the world and when / if Chelsea starts eyeballing political power their influence will be felt again. They had enough pull to turn the DNC into an utter laughing stock and will probably continue to do that for at least another decade.

Chances that she actually spent it all are about zero.

Creative accounting and self-owned sub-contracting bussinesses have undoubtedly made her very rich with each lost campaign.

This is why everyone approves of Trump now.

NOT.

Trump is a disruptor.

This has positives and negatives.

Some things might need to be torn down. Disrupt toooooo much, and everyone is back to stick and stones.

OTOH, some people would prefer to be king of a pile of rocks instead of a comfortable citizen in a kingdom of gold.

As someone once said, "some people just want to see the world burn"

Hillary was not a disruptor.

Once you get on the Trump Train, there is no going back

Sort of like buying a ticket on a airplane. Once it takes off, if you end up going to the wrong city, you are stuck.

Working class people are so absolutely fucked in the ass by globalization that a promise of 4 more years of the same-old-same-old under Hillary was not gonna get thier vote, no matter how many pundits screamed about how Trump was bad.

Trump offers the hope that the working class just MIGHT, maybe, get the globalization cock pulled out of thier ass for a while.

Globalization was sort of like a foreign aid program for the rest of the world in disguise.

It had global benefits, but at a price for certain local economies

We can laugh now, but the day before election night I was genuinely concerned.
