What other people have said: you don't have anything in your eye, anymore. It's just irritation from rubbing it so much. Honestly, it will go away if you just have self-control and don't rub it for a while. You can also get saline eye drops from the store, if you think it would help.

If you have a scratched cornea it can get ulcerated. Go to an eye Dr. They can lead to blindness.

I strongly suggest going to an eye doctor.

Have you tried removing your eye and rinsing it off?

I'm no expert, but if it's not an emergency, my guess would be an optometrist would be the most financially beneficial choice. Check your insurance though, if urgent care visits are covered (or have like a $20-$30 copay or something) you should do that.

Make an appointment with an ophthalmologist, NOT and optometrist. Optometrists are mostly about correcting near or far sightedness.

Scratched cornea is most likely what you are dealing with. Stop rubbing and scratching. Get some vizene or something. Artificial tears to keep buildup from forming.
