The thinking displayed in that statement is broken on so many levels.

If a doctor said this, you could sue him for malpractice. Who the fuck is manufacturing and promoting this shit as if it was legitimate medical advice?

I shit you not, but it's perpetuated by a ham named Linda BACON. And yep, she's a doctor.

Correct. Weight is a consequence of behavior.

This bullshit makes me so fucking angry. I deal with kids with this disease. They take their cues from adults. And today adults act like fucking toddlers.

Intuitive eating is possible, but not fucking everyone could/should do it, especially not fat fucks with no self control or discipline. I used to be overweight, and decided fuck it, I need to learn to eat properly and knows what and how much is going into my mouth. Now I can have a good estimate on how much calorie content in the typical food I prepare myself and consume, so I don't really count anymore and just eat intuitively, though I must add I mostly eat the same food, chicken, rice, oatmeal, fish, vege, nuts, eggs, etc.

Can someone tell me how you need to learn to eat intuitively? I barely understand what people mean by that. Isn't eating intuitively just eating when you're hungry? I'm confused.

Me too. I eat intuitively now, but could only do that after I relearned how to eat properly and recognize proper hunger cues. I also weigh myself regularly to make sure I'm not drifting.

Fats have no notion of hunger, portions, calories and how to recognize and respond to the cues their abused bodies try in vain to send them, so eating intuitively just doesn't work. They just do what they've been doing all along, which is eat too much.

Same here, I counted calories for a few months and then estimating calories became so easy I could do it at a glance. As long as the scale stays put I know I'm doing it right.

I eat this way. My BMI is 21, so I've earned that right.
