It's not and never has been my responsibility to pay for anyone else's healthcare, regardless of what the government forces me to do.

They never had a "right" to reach into my pockets and use my money to pay for their medical problems. Medical care is not and cannot be a right. It takes finite resources, and it takes time out of the lives of medical professionals. Nobody could ever have a right to any measure of someone's time on Earth... unless you believe in slavery, of course.

Every person has their own unique crosses to bear in life. Pre-existing conditions are a rough hand to be dealt, and I feel for those who have them. And I might even voluntarily donate my own money to help them. But no matter what the masses decide, nobody will ever have a right to forcibly take my money to pay for their needs. Need does not create a positive right.
