Even the oils, chemicals? The machines that spray it on? The uniforma that the employees wear including the snaps, buttons and zippers? Lol, their name tags?

Fuck man, I shopped for months for an American made television.
There appears to be no such thing. Hopefully this will change.

Maganvox and RCA are just shell brands aren't they?

I agree. I don't think it would be rather quickly unless you are considering that the "rather" part includes the time to fix or build new plants.

That's setting the bar to impossible levels. Why? To try to make people give up on the idea?
"Buy American" isn't about perfection, especially because some materials are just not even indigenous to the USA. It's about choosing the most American option when you can. Letting perfection get in the way of good is poor tact.

You're right. I did set the bar to impossible.
I agree with you.
I'm just trying to put light on the subject because some people will say Trump failed because a product isn't 100% American.

I'm rather on the fanboi side but reality will hit in a few months. Obama/Hillary have too many plants and getting them all out with take time. Time that must people won't wait for :-(
[–] WhiteRonin [S] 1 point 1 point 2 points (+2|-1) ago
I didn't want to be correct on this one :-(

As much as people may not like it, we, as Americans, benefit greatly from getting lots of goods cheap from other countries.
Large import taxes make businesses not want to do business here, and the goods you do want will be more expensive.
[–] WhiteRonin [S] 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
That's part of it.
I was trying g to get at the idea that even the pen you use to fill out order procruemwnts are even made in China.
Just like how the left attacked Trump merchandise, shit is mostly made outside the US and if it isn't, a portion still does come from else where.

Right, to think that we can cut ourselves off from the world is fine, as long as we're willing to be 20 to 30 years backward like North Korea. That sounds extreme, but that's literally what happened to them.
