I think they're both huge issues. I'd like to see the Fed scrapped and a return to money printed by the mint and ratified with commodities on hand. They're on my shitlist, but so is the program originally designed to be a safety net for farmers so the people who grow our food wouldn't be too broke to eat some of it, and now repurposed to provide complimentary soda and fucking McDonald's to Democrats. Food stamps should return to their former function or be done away with.

to all of those who believe that their taxes pay for anything at all. maybe you should look at how the system really works. there is a deficit, this means that the government orders the fed to print money to pay off all government programs. the money itself is created out of thin air and is technically considered "debt" but in reality, the world has more debt than it has money. your taxes don't pay for shit, your tax money is taken in order to decrease the rate of inflation. that is all. if the fed and the government officials see that money can be printed without raising inflation, they do it. this is one of the big reasons for global surveillance. they are monitoring your purchasing behavior more than they are monitoring your "terrorism" or any other excuse they make up to watch everyone. trade comes first, all other laws come second.
the idea that your taxes pay for stuff, is a lie. it is based off an economic model that does not represent how the banks actually operate, that does not represent the reality of how the fed makes money or how the government spends it. your taxes are paid so that money does not cause rapid inflation and start a cycle of super-inflation.
